Hearsay! Hearsay! by Marither

Hearsay! Hearsay!

What will you say?

Will you just play?

Then, you shouldn’t say.

*

Hearsay! Hearsay!

What will you say?

Will you just betray?

Then, you shouldn’t say.

*

Hearsay! Hearsay!

What will you say?

Will you just lead someone in dismay?

Then, you shouldn’t say.

*

Hearsay! Hearsay!

Why you are like a clay?

You form according to what other people will say?

*

Hearsay! Hearsay!

Why other people obey?

They listen to and follow the newsmongers’ hearsay.

Isn’t it that destroying the person’s reputation is like committing homicide?

Regarding the article:

“Mikey lashes out at Facebook bloggers

What if the accusation was just a hoax?  How can the people who have  disseminated the wrong information recover from the damage that they have caused?     Isn’t it that destroying the person’s reputation is like committing homicide?  Yes, it’s not the intention of the newsmonger to kill the person, but destroying the reputation could lead to depression, stress, serious illness, trauma, accidents or even suicide.

Even the court will not condemn a person unless proven guilty.  Yes, I’m disappointed with the administration, but I’m also guilty for being subjective, which I regret sometimes.   I appreciate the democracy that we have,  the satisfaction it brings after expressing our ideas.  But sometimes we are abusive of our freedom of speech by being subjective that could provide wrong information and could harm other people’s reputation.

Thanks for this realization.  From now on, I’ll be more careful and be objective.   🙂
